Helping your child receive a quality education is our goal! Our LAUNCH Educational Consultants help you accomplish that goal by partnering with you to navigate the sometimes complex school system including obtaining and supporting 504 Plans and IEPs.
What Can You Expect from LAUNCH Educational Consultant Services
Every child has unique learning needs, strengths, and goals. LAUNCH partners with families to help them better understand and navigate the educational process by providing information, guidance, and resources to support informed decision-making and active participation in planning for their child’s success.
Educational consultants help families develop a better understanding of their child’s learning profile, recognize their strengths, and identify strategies to support their academic needs. Our goal is to empower families with the knowledge and confidence to collaborate effectively with schools and participate in their child’s educational journey.
Depending on your child’s individual needs, support may include:
- Conducting a comprehensive review of academic and cognitive evaluations to identify learning strengths, needs, and areas for growth
- Reviewing your child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) or 504 Plan to support your understanding of educational services, accommodations, and supports
- Providing recommendations and resources to help families and schools explore appropriate programming and educational supports
- Offering guidance to increase your understanding of education laws, regulations, and school processes
- Helping families navigate the educational system and access available school resources
- Attending Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings, 504 Plan meetings, and/or other school-related meetings to support communications, collaboration, and family participation
- Supporting effective collaboration between families and school staff to promote positive educational outcomes
Through individualized guidance and support, LAUNCH helps families feel informed, prepared, and empowered to make decisions that support their child’s growth, learning, and success.
